I’m an artist and designer with a rich history of creativity and achievement. My journey began in Baghdad, where I worked at the Ministry of Culture and Media from 1993 to 2007. During those years, I collaborated across various departments, eventually serving as Senior Designer at the Fashion House from 2002 until my departure from Iraq in 2007 forever.
My career at the Ministry of Culture and Media spanned multiple roles as a painter and designer, focusing on graphic and costume design. I contributed to the House of Culture for Children, Republic Newspaper, and the Cultural Relations Department, and led the Design Department at The Fashion House. This diverse experience helped me refine my skills and leave a significant mark in the field.
I hold a Diploma from the Institute of Fine Arts and a BA from the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad. Professionally, I am affiliated with several prestigious organizations, including the International Federation of Journalists, Norwegian PEN, the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the Union of Arab Journalists, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, and the Federation of Iraqi Artists. I have held four personal exhibitions, showcasing my artwork, and won several awards and competitions.
While many focus on peaceful, optimistic narratives or showcase their artistic creations, my story is one of misfortune and relentless struggle. I have been compelled to document my personal suffering, the looting and plundering of my creations, and my ongoing battle against dangerous criminals and human traffickers. My journey has taken me from the war-ravaged streets of Baghdad to Norway, where I’ve encountered new challenges. In Norway, my experience has revealed a troubling reality: smugglers operate with impunity, shielded by corrupt elements within the police force. The enforcement of the law here is often swayed by personal connections, favoritism, and the pursuit of self-interest. These observations are not only rooted in my own experiences but are also supported by official reports from the Norwegian government, which detail the police's alarming ties with criminal gangs and drug traffickers.
I will also publish critical documents related to these human traffickers, which I have recently obtained. Additionally, I will share forms and preliminary sketches of my artwork, highlighting my contributions to the fashion house where a manager attempted to erase my identity as a designer and falsely claimed my work as her own and she the designer.
Throughout this journey, I have faced numerous obstacles, disasters, and conspiracies, with dangerous individuals lurking at every corner. Despite these challenges, I have persisted, refusing to be deterred by corrupt forces, enemies of success, traffickers, and corrupt Norwegian police officers and police lawyers indistinguishable from their criminal clients. Both groups excel in deceit and cowardice, yet I have steadfastly insisted on exposing them and continuing my path.
Join me as we explore the power of art, and wisdom in navigating life's trials and finding beauty in personal development. This space is where art, wisdom, and personal growth intersect. Together, we will uncover the truths behind systemic corruption within the corrupt law enforcement elements in Norway and explore the broader narrative of resilience and self-improvement.
